Thank you for taking time to engage with me.
Since the by-election, I have answered so many questions from you, 'Why Councillor when you were the former Mayor?'... quite frankly, any seat has influence and we need experience at the table.
My family has lived in Lions Bay for over 40 years - and in that time I have partnered, parented, befriended, mentored, grieved, served, volunteered and governed in this community.
I have been part of its growth, successes, unimaginable tragedies, and everything in between.
And I can say with certainty, I am committed to the future of Lions Bay.
Thank you for choosing me to represent you.
I promised you all that I would reach out to our community and remain engaged and this page is just that-- openness.
I continue to hike with our community's hiking group, record and share exciting news whether it's a resident's new born, proud grandparents or local unions. I welcome new residents who have moved from afar, or assist residents or families who need our help.
I will continue to listen to other points of view and will provide facts about events that impact you.
Results are not measured
by the words spoken but by a successful track record and by money saved for our community.
I am a direct, no nonsense
kind of person and I can be relied upon to steer through municipal storms.
I will continue to insist as a council, we are responsible, accountable and stand up for our Community Charter and the policies enacted to ensure each member of our community has a voice.
Climate Action is important to me.
Learning, evolving and pivoting is part of good leadership . In 2020 I, along with council and many citizens in our community recognized formally that climate change was impacting Lions Bay in serious ways.
We initiated the Climate Action Committee to provide focus to Council to discuss and plan for the impacts of climate change; wildfire preparedness, water shortages and future Provincial density pressures to name a few.

Municipal fiscal responsibility is, in essence, THE main role for us, your council members.
Simply put - a group of people you elect are responsible to manage your tax dollars in ways that meet your needs.
I remain committed to share what matters to you and help you remain abreast on how your dollars are being spent.
I bring a 30+ yr. commercial banking career, active municipal knowledge as your Mayor of 4 years and 7 years as Councillor, and now once again I will represent you on Council to help during the coming months prior to the next municipal election.

I bring a 30+ yr. commercial banking career, active municipal knowledge as your Mayor of 4 years and 7 years as Councillor, and now once again I will represent you on Council to help during the coming months prior to the next municipal election.
My commitment as Councillor is to uphold our residents' right to question lack of process, the lack of action, out of control spending and lack of true transparency.
Exchanging best practices with other municipalities is how we build respectful and collaborative relationships that are a necessary part of municipal governance.
Small communities are dependent on one another to share strategies to achieve provincial grant success.
Interconnected municipal collaboration is essential to our community, and I will continue to represent Lions Bay's best interests.
